Composite wood pergola products
Fascia pergola
Composite Wood Fascia pergolas are constructed using either our narrow or wide fascia planks to close in the ceiling with gaps between the fascia planks .The spacing between the fascia planks will determine how much sunlight is allowed to pass through the fascia planks .This design of pergola is not only aesthetically appealing an added aesthetic design to you composite wood deck, it is also functional where it creates a shaded area to relax when it gets too hot to be out in the full sun.

Weaved pergola
Composite Wood Weaved pergolas are constructed either using our narrow or wide facia planks to close in the ceiling. The difference between a weaved pergola and a fascia pergola is that generally a weaved pergola the composite planks will butt up against one another allowing minimal light through. The aesthetic design of a weaved pergola is eye catching as the planks are woven through the galvanised steel .This design of pergola is also more cost effective than a fascia pergola as less steel work is required and offers more shade.

Beamed pergola
Composite Wood Beamed pergolas are more for an aesthetic design. Beamed pergolas offer no shade and rather enhance the look and feel of a specific area bringing an elegant visual enhancement to that space. Beamed pergolas are available in two different beam sizes either our 100mm x 50mm composite beam if it’s a sleek narrow look you going for or our 160mm x 60mm composite wood beam if it’s a more chunkier look and feel you prefer.

NOTE-All pergolas can be waterproofed using a polycarbonate sheeting which is available in various colours. More commonly waterproofed are the fascia pergolas while during the construction one is able to recess the polycarbonate sheeting into the pergola so it is not visible unless you are standing directly underneath the pergola ceiling. The same applies to a composite wood weaved pergola. While it is possible to waterproof a beamed pergola it is not possible to hide the polycarbonate sheeting which is always visible.

Composite wood pergola post with gavalnalised steel insert
For the most part pergolas will require support posts, this can either be done using a galvanised structural steel support that is either primed and painted to match the colour of the composite material being used or you can choose to clad the steel posts with our composite wood fascia planks.
However you have a third option which is to use our composite wood pergola posts with a galvanised structural steel insert which brings its own unique look and feel to the end result which is aesthetically pleasing .Unlike using fascia planks to clad steel posts where the fixing screws are visible, using a composite wood pergola post there are no visible fixing screws leaving a clean smooth finish.
