Composite wood fluted panelling

The continual evolving of the Composite Wood industry has led to a new product that is now available on the market. Fluted Panelling has taken the world by storm and is being used extensively in both residential and commercial projects.

Fluted Panelling has an amazing look and feel that brings a unique aesthetic advantage to any structure. Architects and designers are now incorporating Fluted panelling into their design as well as using it to facelift existing residential and commercial buildings.

Fluted Panelling can be installed during the building process or after. If one feels it’s time for a change and a new look there is no better aesthetically pleasing product to use than Fluted panelling. With its 25 year guarantee being 100% maintenance free say goodbye to having to regularly paint and maintain concrete, plastered or brick structures, this product will always look the same as the day it is installed. Fluted Panelling can be installed vertically or horizontally as well as in ceiling applications.

Fluted panelling is installed onto a support mounted to the structure. Inland we would suggest using a galvanised steel support (which can be seen in our installation instructions below), timber is subject to decay, rots and can be eaten by ants and termites ,primed and painted steel eventually rusts. At the coast we would use a high pressure treated timber as a support. Fluted Panelling is fixed together using a hidden clip system, the clip is stainless steel and once interlocked gives the visual look that the Fluted Panelling is one continual section.

Importantly at Fishers decking and Flooring our Fluted Panelling planks are 5800 long, there are one or two other companies whose planks are also 5800 long but for the most part companies selling this product sell it at 2400 long. This is a problem as most external walls far exceed 2400H. When it comes to Fluted panelling from an aesthetic point of view one want s to have one continual length and eliminate unsightly joins where for the most case having a 5.8m plank avoids the need to join planks together. If the height exceeds 5800H we have a visually aesthetic way to do this.
